There is a lie so old, so deeply woven into the fabric of everything you have ever been taught, that most people will never think to question it.
It is not a small lie.
It is not a cultural misunderstanding or a theological grey area.
It is the foundational story upon which centuries of religion, tradition, doctrine, and personal identity have been built — and it has been costing you everything.
Here it is:
You are a human being.
Where the Lie Was Born
Long before you had a name, long before you knew what religion was, the Soul — God’s own Image and Likeness, formed in Genesis 1:26 — was handed a story.
The story went like this:
You sinned. Because you sinned, you were separated from God. Because you were separated, you are now encased in a mortal body — flesh and blood and bone. That body, that personality, that personal self-identity you carry around every day? That is you. That is your life. That is your existence.
This is what was told to you by parents, priests, institutions, and traditions spanning thousands of years. It was told early. It was told loud. It was told with sincerity and absolute conviction.
And the Soul — God’s own Image and Likeness — believed it.
It believed it so completely that it made the personal self-identity its most cherished possession. More intimate than skin. More certain than breath.
“This,” the Soul told itself, “is me.”
And with that belief — the suffering began.
The Cost of a Borrowed Identity
When you believe you are a human being, everything that happens to that human being becomes your problem.
The body gets sick — and you suffer. The relationship ends — and you grieve as though a piece of yourself has died. The career fails — and you question your worth. The anxiety rises — and you assume something is deeply, fundamentally wrong with you.
You pray to a God who feels far away, because the story told you that distance exists. You pursue healing through systems that begin with the premise of your brokenness. You seek peace in a thousand directions — therapy, meditation, religion, self-help — and you may find relief, but never resolution.
Because you are searching from inside the lie.
Every system that begins with “you are a human being in need of healing” can only ever offer partial answers. It is reaching for the light while standing inside the dark room and refusing to open the door.
The door is this: You were never human.
What God Actually Sees
Here is what the Eternal MIND — the I-AM-THAT-I-AM — sees when it looks at you:
Not a sinner. Not a soul trapped in flesh. Not a mortal personality trying to find its way back to God.
God sees ITSELF.
God’s Image and Likeness — the Soul — is not within a body. The body is not a prison. The body is not your home. The body, the universe, the visible world in all its seeming physicality, exists as Spirit — held within the SUBSTANCE that is SPIRIT OR GOD, meaning one and the same!
Dear lost and hurting soul, or God’s Image and Likeness, are not a creature reaching for God.
You are SPIRIT+SOUL=BEING-I, Spirit, Awareness, Aliveness, is God’s Image and Likeness, your true and authentic INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity, but it is always I-AM-THAT-I-AM, LIFE, SPIRIT, SUBSTANCE, MIND, BEING, AWARENESS, THAT IS BEING THE SELF.
Never is the body your identity, nor the personal-self-identity who you are.
The conditioning — the centuries of theological hypnosis — has trained your perception to see everything as external, objective, and material. You see yourself as flesh and blood, as gender and personality, as a name with a past and a future. That is what theological superstitious beliefs, educated “sense” perception calls real.
But the Eternal I-AM-THAT-I-AM—which is the INVISIBLE SELF that you actually are—perceives nothing the way conditioned thought does. To that Eternal Awareness, there is no separation between the SPIRIT and the SOUL. No distance from God. No sin-gap that needs to be bridged. No human cage in which the Soul is imprisoned.
There is only SPIRIT.
There is only BEING.
There is only “YOU”— as God created you, as God knows you, as God IS you.
Why This Changes Everything
This is not a philosophical upgrade.
This is not a new theology to add to your existing collection of beliefs.
This is GOD’s ETERNAL NATURE, GOD’s ETERNAL TRUTH, GOD’s stands for ETERNITY that dissolves the very ground on which all your suffering stands.
When you see that the “self” who was suffering — the human self, the sinful self, the separated self — was never who you truly are, the suffering does not just get better. It loses its premise.
You cannot suffer as a BEING who has NEVER been separated from God. You cannot be broken as the Image and Likeness of the Eternal God. You cannot be separated from the Source when you are the Source expressing ITSELF.
This is the most dangerous lie ever told — not because it was malicious, but because it was believed. Completely. By sincere souls who passed it to other sincere souls across thousands of years, never stopping to ask:
What if we are starting from the wrong place?
The Invitation
Dear lost and hurting Soul —
You do not need to pray harder, sin less, suffer more, or believe more fervently in a theology that has never once answered your deepest questions with anything but more questions.
You need to wake up from that bad dream.
Not to a new religion.
Not to a new guru.
But to the ETERNAL TRUTH that was never hidden — only forgotten:
Dear lost and hurting Soul, dear Image and Likeness of God, “YOU” are not a human being.
You are A Spirit BEING!
You are God’s Image and Likeness — not on the way to God, but already, Eternally, inseparably, the very Life that God IS.
The suffering ends not when you get better at being human.
It ends when you stop being human altogether — and remember what you have always, only, ever been.
