The Foundational Error: Why You Aren’t Actually Lost (and Why You Can’t Be)
We are living through a modern epidemic of emptiness. It is a quiet, pervasive sense of being “lost”—a persistent emptiness that no amount of career success, wealth, money, relationship stability, or self-improvement seems to fill.
I know this feeling not as an abstract theory, but as a survivor of the crucible. Within a span of only six years, I lost my mother, my grandmother, and my sister. In the hollowed-out silence that followed, I was forced to confront the failure of every traditional coping mechanism I had been taught.
What I discovered is that emotional suffering, or why most people feel lost, is because the human sense of “self” is based on a false belief – the belief in sin and death. It is a manifestation of a “condition” I call the Invisible Illness. This illness is the logical result of a mistaken premise—of a false mind trying to navigate a reality that does not actually exist.
This means you are operating on a false mind whose foundation is built on error.
What’s the error?
To answer that question, we must distinguish between the human sense of “self” and the God ”SELF.”
The “Foundational Error” of Separation.
The root cause of every psychological fracture and emotional friction we experience is the Foundational Error of sin and death. This is the theological superstitious belief that a gap exists between you and God.
The God-SELF is the Image and Likeness of God or the Soul which is God “ITSELF.”
This is the ONLY ONE “SELF Individual” made in God’s Image. This “SELF-INDIVIDUAL- BEING” is Eternal, Spirit throughout being Eternally God ITSELF. The Image and Likeness of God “SELF” is God’s sense of SELF and has nothing to do with the human sense of “self, the ego.”
To explain this Eternal Truth in another way: This “SELF – the Image and Likeness of God” is God ITSELF and has nothing to do with the human sense of “self which is the ego/personality.”
The God-SELF is your true Spiritual Eternal Nature—your Soul. This is what it means to be made in God’s Image. This SELF is Eternal and Entirely Spiritual. It’s God’s own “SELF”, and it’s completely different from what we think of as our human “self” or ego.
The Human Sense of “self” is the Ego/ “Personal-Mind.”
This version of “self” is built on limiting beliefs, the belief and assumption that “God’s Image and Likeness,” the “Soul” “ God-I-AM-Individual-SELF-Identity’ is a “human being,” and that the Image and Likeness of God has a body, is material, that the Soul or the Image and Likeness of God is within a body, needs healing, helping, freedom and subject to destruction.
The mistaken idea and belief that our true Spiritual nature—the Soul, which is made in God’s image—is actually a physical human being within a body is the root cause of all suffering because this idea and belief is false and wrong.
It assumes that the Soul is trapped inside a physical material body, that it needs to be healed or saved, and that it can be destroyed.
This here is the root cause of all suffering. It is what we call the Foundational Error: the belief that we’re separate from God or the Divine. This isn’t because we’re flawed individuals—it’s a deeper problem that affects everyone.
We have been conditioned by “theological superstition” to believe that God is “up there” or “out there,” separate from our own being. This belief creates a relentless “noise” in the mind, as we exhaust ourselves trying to bridge a distance that God’s Eternal Nature does not recognize.
The Image and likeness of God is NOT human, personal.
The Image and Likeness of God is NOT subject to theological pressure; it’s not confused, lost as theological teachings and doctrines suggest. The “ I-AM- Image and Likeness of God or the Soul is mortal, physical material being with a body capable of being a sinner and God denying IT’s own SELF-INDIVIDUAL-Identity.
How did I know all these?
After I lost my mom, grandma and sister within six years, I had an encounter with a “Still Small Voice.” The voice told me that I was not a sinner and that I have NEVER been separated from God, contrary to theological teachings.
Despite what theological teachings may say, the Still Small Voice said there is only one SINGLE SELF-Individual: God.
Why?
Because God is Eternal, which means God includes everything, the Eternal Principle of is All in All means all Substance, things came out of God — hence God IS Complete, Whole, Total, Eternal. And that nothing can exist outside of God or separate from God’s Eternal Nature. God is the only SELF, the Image and Likeness of God or the Soul is the ONLY ONE, the Eternal SELF-Individual made in God’s Image and Likeness.
I felt hurt that the “Still Small Voice” didn’t acknowledge my emotional pain, the weight of my past trauma, or my struggles to heal. I tried to explain my frustration with depression and other mental health challenges I was facing.
But the “Still Small Voice” said I was believing in false theological superstitious beliefs and holding on to false ideas of myself and seeing a reality that didn’t exist.
The Voice told me to NEVER think of God as being “up there” in heaven, separate from me.
Why? Because thinking that way suggests duality, that there are different levels or stages, that God is far away, and I need to grow or improve to reach God. It suggests that God is separate from God’s own self, which doesn’t make sense.
The Image and Likeness of God IS God.
The Still Small Voice explained that God is aware of being God, and there has never been any separation between God and God’s Image and Likeness or God’s Soul.
The Still Small Voice said God is the only real Mind that exists.
So the Voice said I was living from a fake, pretend mind and a fake, pretend self that was only pretending to exist.
The “Still Small Voice” explained why I felt lost and without meaning and purpose. It said I was struggling because I didn’t recognize my true SELF, God’s Image and Likeness.
The Voice asked me: Why do you deny God’s Perfection and Power within God’s Image and Likeness that is my real SELF?
Why struggle so much when everything you need is already inside of your God-SELF-Individual-Identity?
Have you been taught that you’re flawed and broken?
The Voice said I was holding on to weakness, pain, fear, and negativity because I didn’t want to let go of what theological superstitious beliefs and doctrines have taught me.
Holding on to those attachments kept me in the ego’s mind, where I was carrying the Image of a suffering human, and the conflict that exists within that reality and mind, because I kept identifying with the self-identity that my God’s image and likeness, my lost soul, is now a human being because of sin. I was cut off from God’s Eternal Presence and fallen from Grace.
I was misled, fooled, believing that I was lost in sin and trespasses. I was told I was separated from God because of my sins. I believed I was lost in sin. I was told that my sins separated me from God.
Those teachings made me think my body was my real “self.” They made me believe that theological superstitious beliefs and doctrines were God’s final truth. But I discovered that wasn’t true. The real Eternal Truth is God’s Eternal Reality and Nature.
Unfortunately, I had suffered in vain, discovering that the human idea of self, history doesn’t exist in God’s Eternal Reality.
I did not know I was living my life out of a pretend “mind” and pretend “self.”
A mindset, a platform, a foundation of operation that created a false image of me, telling me that the body was who I am. I didn’t realize I was living with a false understanding of who I was. This false way of thinking made me believe that my body was my true self. It told me that my soul—the part of me made in God’s image—was just a human being destined to die.
Believing that I was a sinner, I carried the load of depression, emptiness, and lack of meaning and purpose. I struggled to fix that pretend-self, reinventing that self year after year, trying to evolve, to overcome the ego, fear, and limiting beliefs. I tried to control that mind, struggled with the voices in my head, became angry with God for letting all these bad things happen to me, not knowing that theological superstitious beliefs and teaching were the cause of my problems.
Superstitious beliefs and doctrines created a false reality where they pretend to exist as a pretend mind ( ego) and pretend self (personality).
Their teaching, doctrines were the limiting beliefs, the superstructure and substance of the mind that were causing me unhappiness, frustrations with God and the incompleteness of a pretend soul’s painful experience and mental health struggles.
Theological Superstitious beliefs are the ego’s trap, the devil’s workshop disguised as God’s representative on earth.
Your profound emotional and physical toll of the invisible illness, mental health struggles, unexpected life setbacks, and personal stories of feeling lost and the lack of meaning and purpose are because you are aware of a false sense of “self” and a false mind built on the false believe that the Image and Likeness of God is a mortal human being, and that the soul is a mortal being.
Your emotional pain, mental health struggles, and life’s setbacks happen because you believe in a false sense of self. This false self is built on the wrong idea that God’s Image—your soul—is a human being who will die.
This mistake is why you feel insecure, lost, and feel like your life has no meaning or purpose. It happens because your self-identity is built on something false.
Its structure is fake, its goal is just a guess, and what it offers is based on assumptions. This confused way of thinking brings pain and darkness into your life. It exists in confusion—in a made-up mind that’s separate from God, the ONE, the ONLY MIND.

When you operate from the premise of separation, you are essentially trying to solve a problem in a “pretend reality.” You are fighting a phantom, and the friction you feel is the soul’s natural resistance to a lie.
To fix it, we need to understand what causes it.
The root cause is what we call the Foundational Error of sin and death: the belief that we’re separate from God or the Divine.
This mistaken belief creates a fasle realm where what we call the Invisible Illness exist: the depression, anxiety, trauma, the lack of meaning and purpose—the actual feelings we experience, like constant emptiness, inner conflict, and a restless mind that’s trying to solve a problem, the experiential symptoms of persistent emptiness, emotional friction, and the relentless “noise” of a mind trying to navigate a reality that does not exist.
The “Lost Soul Doctrine” is a Logical Impossibility
We often lament the state of the “lost soul,” but in a universe where God is “All-in-All,” Omnipresent God, a lost soul is a logical contradiction. Since God is the only Substance and Presence, where exactly could a soul go to be “outside” of that Presence?
Since God is truly the only real Mind and the only Substance, then your Soul, which is God ITSELF functioning as God’s Image and Likeness – God’s SELF-Individual-I-AM-Identity—cannot be misplaced.
To believe otherwise is to suggest a dualistic universe.
Is God dualistic?
Would the separation of the Spirit and the Soul not be the end of God’s Eternal Singleness?
The feeling of being lost is not the Eternal Truth of your God-SELF; it is a trick of the ego’s perception. When you hold onto theological superstitious beliefs, you are misidentifying yourself with a version of “you, self” that does not exist in God’s Eternal MIND.
Unfortunately, we ignorantly operate within this false mind, a “pretend reality,” exhaustively attempting to repair a fractured ego-self, a false sense of “self” that feels incomplete. We live inside this false way of thinking—a made-up reality.
We keep trying to fix this broken ego-self, this false sense of who we are that always feels like something is missing. But here’s the key: you can’t solve the real problem by only treating the symptoms.
Key Insight: A “Lost Soul” is a contradiction of the Eternal Intelligence of the Omnipresent Eternal Nature of God. God is the ONLY Substance and Presence, and there is nowhere for a soul to go, or to be “lost” since God’s Image, the Soul, is God ITSELF and NEVER left. Where would it go if it never left in the first place? I am sure theological superstitious beliefs are not aware of God’s Eternal Singleness.
Is this not the foundation of theology and humanity?
Without this false foundation, can they exist?
God’s Eternal BEING is made up of God, God’s Image and Likeness, God’s Eternal Mind, God’s Soul, and Spirit—this is the complete “I-AM-that-I-AM.”
Then is the Soul lost?
Is God’s Image and Likeness a mortal human being?
Or does God have another “self-image-and-likeness?”
If so, is God dualistic?
And would the Spirit and the Soul separation, division, not be the end of God’s Eternal Singleness, of the Spirit and the Soul functioning together as ONE SINGLE Eternity?
How can God’s Image and Likeness sin?
How can God’s soul be lost?
How can God fail to be IT-SELF-Individual-I-AM-Identity?
How can the Image and likeness of God scramble to be a self that it is not, a self that it cannot be, the self that is not the soul or the Image and likeness of God?
If you are truly God’s Image and Likeness, how could you sin? How could God’s Soul ever be lost? How could you fail to be your true SELF? How could God’s Image try to become something it’s not—something it could never be? That’s impossible!
It doesn’t actually make sense since God is All in All.
Since God is all that exists, since God is IT’s own Image and Likeness, IT’s own Soul, there’s nowhere for your soul to actually go or get lost. The feeling of being lost is just a mis-identification of “self”— the “self” you are looking at is not the truth of who you really are.
Theological superstitious beliefs should either prove themselves true or stop confusing the people.
The Human “Self” vs. the God “SELF”
To find Inner Peace, Happiness, Freedom from the ego, we must meticulously distinguish between the human “self” and God-I-AM-Individual-SELF-Identity.
• The Human “Self”: This is the ego-personality. It is built on the belief that the Image and Likeness of God is a material human being incarcerated in a physical body. This “self” believes it is subject to destruction, needs constant healing, and is defined by its sins and limitations.
• The God “SELF”: This is your Soul, this is your authentic Image and Likeness which is God ITSELF. It is the “ONLY ONE SELF Individual” made in the Image and Likeness of God. This SELF is not human, not personal, and not subject to theological pressure.
The weight of your feeling of lost-self, a sense of lack of meaning and purpose, depression and anxiety stems from the false assumption that your Soul is a mortal, physical entity destined to die.
This superstitious belief of a mistaken self-identity is the “devil’s workshop. It is the devil presenting its false self as the ego, the personal-human-self-identity, disguising itself as God’s truth while it causes you to deny your own Eternal SELF-Perfection.
You Are Operating on a “Pretend Mind”
Most of us spend our lives operating out of a “pretend mind”—a superstructure of limiting beliefs and theological doctrines. This mind creates a “fake self” that we then try to fix, year after year, with exhausting labour.
We try to “evolve,” “overcome the ego,” and “control the mind,” but this is a form of theological pressure that only deepens mental health struggles. You cannot treat mental health problems by treating the symptoms of a fake self-identity and the fake mind and reality projecting the symptoms.
The false mind that created the problems and illusions can not at the same time provide the solutions.
The ego, through human teachings, has “spiritualized the ego-self, the personality.” Claiming that through meditation and energy healing, the ego-self can be free from the ego. How laughable is that?
The exhaustion you feel is the result of “reinventing that self” repeatedly, trying to repair a fractured ego that doesn’t actually exist in God’s Eternal Reality. The human story of lack, sin, and trauma simply does not exist in the Mind of God.
ONLY God’s Eternal Truth can free you from the ego, the feeling of lost and lack of meaning.
All human tools for mental health treatments got their piece of the pie from the larger ego-mind. You see, the large human mind they are all operating on the ego platform. A vicious cycle of darkness and limiting beliefs that has created a false self-image-of the-self-you-wake up-and-see everyday.
Let go of the false-self-identity. That is not the true image of you being.
My beloved friends who visit my site daily, for whatever reasons, I found the REST OF GOD, healing from the “Still Small Voice” on that faithful day.
I found a NEW Life, a New World, a NEW BEING.
An “Eternal BEING, SELF, LIFE and MIND”, my God-SELF, which is the Image and Likeness of God and also discovered that my Soul and Spirit have never been separated.
The “Still Small Voice” told me that I ( the Image and Likeness of God, the Soul) have never been a human being. That God’s Image and Likeness or the Soul is a Completely and Totally Eternal Spirit BEING, impossible to be separated or divided, for even God ITSELF cannot CHANGE this ETERNAL REALITY.
The Image and Likeness of God has nothing to do with humanity.
The “Still Small Voice” said that means all I needed to do was to be Aware of MY SELF, the Image and Likeness of God, as being everlastingly my God-SELF.
It meant being SELF-Aware of MY Eternal BEING.
This God-SELF-Individual-I-AM-Identity IS the Light of God’s Presence and the Light that should be leading my everyday living being who I truly AM through my Eternal God’s Nature of being.
I wanted to call it my Eternal GPS, but the “Still Small Voice” said no, that I should not.
The Shift from “Becoming” to “BEING”
During my own deepest darkness, I encountered a “Still Small Voice” that challenged everything I knew. It did not coddle my trauma or acknowledge my depression as a reality. Instead, it asked confrontational, high-impact questions:
“Why do you deny God’s perfection and power within you?
Have you been taught that you’re flawed or broken?
Why struggle so much when everything you need is already inside you?”
Initially, I thought the “Still Small Voice” was talking about my human or ego sense of self-identity, but the “Still Small Voice” was referring to the Image and Likeness of God. It is within this SELF where I found the Kingdom of God within MY Eternal God-I-AM-SELF-Identity.
The voice revealed that I was never a sinner and have never been separated from God. The solution to our “Invisible Illness” is not “improvement” or “self-repair of the ego-self-identity.”
It is SELF-Awareness of the God’s Image and Likeness and the recognition that this ETERNAL SELF- the Image and Likeness of God, the Soul, BEING is NOT a mortal human being.
This is the shift from the friction of “becoming” something better to the peace of “BEING” what you already are.
When you stop trying to fix the “pretend self,” you realize that you are the Eternal Soul, an Individual SELF-Identity that is part of the complete “I-AM-that-I-AM.”
Conclusion: Finding the “Rest of God.”
21 years ago, I answered the call for a quest to search for the REST OF GOD as promised in the book of Hebrews. Out of curiosity, I accepted the call to see for myself if God exist and if indeed there was a REST IN GOD.
I found the REST OF GOD in God’s Image and Likeness and the Eternal Truth that My Soul is not and has never been lost.
Recognizing the Foundational Error acts as the bridge from the “Invisible Illness” to a “New World” of Eternal BEING, hence ONEBEING Living. This is why I exist, exposing the nothingness of theological Superstitious beliefs and their Fallacies.
When we remove theological superstitious beliefs, and the ego’s foundation—its power, status, and long-held authority—the false self has nothing left to stand on. It loses its substance, weight, security, and direction.
This ends the suffering of the ego’s victims, the lost soul and those who’ve been taught and conditioned to believe they are lost and are mortal human beings.

When we understand this truth, feelings of being lost, depressed, anxious, and experiencing emotional or physical pain simply disappear. Just like darkness cannot exist in bright light, the false sense of self—the ego and its confusion—has no place in God’s Perfect Light and MIND.
Happiness is being Aware of God’s Presence and Perfection.
It’s the Kingdom of God within you—your Soul fully alive as its Complete SELF, as the “I AM” that God is. This SELF-Awareness brings Eternal Health, Wealth, Inner Peace, and Happiness. This is the goal of ONEBEING Living—God’s Way of Life and Living based on God’s Eternal Truth.
Happiness, which is the Presence of God, the Awareness of God’s Eternal Perfection, inclusive of the Kingdom of God within, is the Image and Likeness of God, the Soul alive to IT’s own Complete I-AM-SELF-Individual-Identity, the I-AM-that-God-IS.
This Awareness is immeasurable. Within God’s Eternal Truth, you find Divine health, wealth, Inner Peace, and Happiness.
This is the ultimate goal of ONEBEING Livine Business.
