So what… Because — all suffering — mental, emotional, physical — is powered by one single hidden belief: that the Soul is separate from God.
So what… Because they are not a mortal human reaching toward God. They are God’s own Eternal BEING — Spirit and Soul as ONE — fashioned in Genesis 1:26.
So what… Because — when that truth is recognized — not intellectually, but as lived reality — the seeking ends. The emptiness closes. The suffering ends. Not by effort. By revelation.

For twenty-one years, I asked the question.
Not the way you type it into a search bar at midnight, hoping an article will hand you a tidy answer. I asked it the way a person asks when everything has collapsed — when grief is the air you breathe, when depression is not a mood but a country you live in, when you have done everything the gurus said to do, and you still feel like a stranger inside your own life.
Who am I?
I asked it after the loss. After the therapy. After the prayers and the retreats and the books stacked beside my bed like a monument to every answer that didn’t hold.
And the terrifying thing? Every answer I was given was a lie — and none of it was enough.
Because here is what no one told me. What the gurus quietly skipped over. What religion pointed toward but could never quite say:
The question “Who AM I?” is not a philosophical problem waiting for a clever solution.
It is your Soul recognizing that it has forgotten something — something so fundamental, so close, so woven into the very fabric of your being, that you have been living your entire life without it.
You have not lost yourself.
You have simply believed that you could.
And that single belief — the belief that God’s Image and Likeness or the Soul could sin, be lost and separated from the Spirit and that you are a mortal human, separate from God, fragile and finite and forever seeking — is the only thing that has ever made you suffer.
What I discovered on the other side of twenty-one years was not a new practice, a better technique, or a more enlightened teacher.
It was a revelation so simple, so absolute, and so close to home that I wept the moment it arrived.
And it begins with one answer — the answer your soul has been waiting for since before you knew you were asking.
Who are you?
You are not who you think you are.
Why This Is the Only Question That Matters
You may have come here because you typed those three words into a search bar. Or maybe you built the career, the business, the life that looks extraordinary from the outside — and still wake up with that hollow, unnamed ache that refuses to leave.
Something is missing. And you know it.
So what? you might ask. Isn’t this just philosophy?
No. Here is why it is the most urgent thing you will ever face.
Because — if you do not know who you truly are, everything else is built on a false foundation. Every decision you make, every relationship you enter, every success you achieve will always feel slightly wrong, slightly insufficient, slightly not quite it. The hunger never stops because the thing being fed is never you.
Because — every pattern of suffering in your life — the anxiety, the depression, the fear, the cycles of limiting beliefs, emptiness and loss — is running on the same hidden operating system: the belief that you are a small, separate self, cut off from something greater.
Because there is a STATE OF BEING WHOLE, so naturally at peace, so complete, that it does not need to be achieved or maintained. Only BE.
The answer to “Who am I?” does not create peace. It reveals the peace that was never absent.
What You Were Told — And Why It Was Never Enough
You have been given answers.
Perhaps a teacher handed you a framework. Perhaps religion gave you a doctrine — a map from sin to salvation, from brokenness to wholeness. Perhaps science offered you a model of the self. Perhaps years of therapy helped you understand your patterns — and still, the patterns returned.
Here is why every one of those paths, however true they may have sounded or appeared, ultimately left you still searching.
Every path that begins with the assumption that you are a limited, mortal, separate self — and then asks you to work your way toward wholeness — begins in the wrong place, begins in assumption.
You cannot journey from darkness to light if you are, in the Eternal Nature of God, the LIGHT ITSELF.
You cannot heal a separation that, in GOD, never occurred.
You cannot become one with God if, in your deepest and most original nature, you are already God’s own Eternal BEING.
This is not metaphor. This is not spiritual poetry. This is the revelation that changes everything — and the one that most teachers either do not know, or do not say.
You Were Identified Before Time Had Words for It
Long before the world gave you a name, a body, a history, a diagnosis, a title, or a wound — you were identified.
In Genesis 1:26, God brought forth a SINGLE, unified BEING — not a physical creature capable of sin, not something that would one day become Spirit — but God’s own Image and Likeness: Spirit and Soul, functioning together as ONE SINGLE, Eternal BEING.
This is YOUR true and authentic “I.”
You know, when you say “I ” or “I AM”? This is the “I” you are referring to.
But who is this “YOU” I am referring to?
I am referring to the God-Man from Genesis 1:26, created in the very Image and Likeness of God. This is the “I”—the true BEING where Spirit + Soul function as ONE SINGLE ETERNAL BEING.
Who is the GOD “YOU” brought forth in Genesis 1:26, shaped in the exact Image and Likeness of God? This GOD SINGLE BEING is the ultimate “I,” where Spirit and Soul operate in Eternal unison as ONE SINGLE ETERNAL BEING.
People often wonder: what constitutes this Spirit + Soul = BEING- “I”, where can it be found, and what is its true nature?
It is not physical, material, or an objective inheritance passed down through generations. This SPIRIT BEING—the SPIRIT (Male) + SOUL (Female)-BEING-I—is entirely apart from the human concept of “i” passing from parent to offspring the idea of “being”, for the God “I” is a Pure SPIRIT BEING, not a physical body.
The ONE and ONLY BEING in Genesis 1:26 stands as Eternal SPIRIT and LIFE, an Eternal Totality where Spirit and Soul function together in Complete and Flawless Perfection. It is Eternal Purity, entirely free from sin, limitation, separation, otherness, or anything foreign and contrary that could ever mar, blemish, impair, or impeach the majesty of Omnipresence.
The true “I” is the ultimate BEING where SPIRIT + SOUL functions Eternally as ONE SINGLE ETERNAL BEING, the GOD Man from Genesis 1:26, who was fashioned in the exact Image and Likeness of God.
This supreme SPIRIT + SOUL=BEING-” I” is God ITSELF, completely encompassing the entire universe and every single idea within it. Because everything in existence exists exclusively within this unified BEING, SPIRIT IS the ETERNAL SUBSTANCE of existence and is Existence ITSELF.
Yet, even though everything exists by virtue of SPIRIT being ITSELF, this SPIRIT + SOUL=BEING-” I” remains entirely unrelated to, and independent of, the things within SPIRIT conceptions and universe, standing absolute before bodies, oceans, mountains, or any worldly form.
This SPIRIT BEING—the SPIRIT (Male) + SOUL (Female)-BEING-I is the ONE and ONLY I-SELF-Identity, Life being the Individual All and is the ETERNAL MIND within which the body and all the bodies in the world, the universe and all its content, and Existence exist, hence the body-personal-self cannot be the identity of This SPIRIT BEING—the SPIRIT (Male) + SOUL (Female) or God’s Image and Likeness-BEING-I.
GOD IS SPIRIT, AN ETERNAL SPIRIT BEING—the unified SPIRIT (Male) + SOUL (Female)-BEING-I IS GOD, AWARENESS EXISTING AS ITSELF, THE ULTIMATE I-AM-THAT-I-AM.
This Eternal Intelligence, this IMMUTABLE SPIRIT BEING, REMAINING ETERNAL IN ITS OMNIPRESENT OMNISCIENCE, IS THE ONE AND ONLY STATE, SUBSTANCE AND EXCLUSIVE LIFE THAT SPIRITUALLY SUSTAINS THIS SPIRIT BEING, AND GOD REJOICES IN REVEALING ITS OWN BEING.
This SPIRIT INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity is NOT the name your parents gave you. Not the role you perform at work. Not the story your mind replays in the dark. This “I” is what philosophy has endlessly circled, what religion has NEVER had a glimpse of, what your Soul has always known beneath the noise of everything it was told to believe.
Spirit (the Male principle of God) + Soul (the Female principle of God) = BEING — the I-AM, the ETERNAL SELF — God’s own INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity IS WHO YOU ARE.
This BEING is not physical. It was never born and holds no birthday. It did not arrive through history, evolution, or the passage of time. It is Eternal Purity—wholly free from limitation, separation, or anything that could ever diminish the majesty of Omnipresence.
And this BEING is your only true INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity.
Not the you that wakes up exhausted. Not the you that scrolls for validation at midnight. Not the you carrying grief, shame, or the accumulated weight of a life built on who you were told to be.
The real, original, Eternal YOU—the BEING that was never born into suffering and will never die into oblivion—exists entirely outside of time.
The One Belief That Created All Your Suffering
Since your true SELF-Identity is Eternal BEING — Whole, Complete, and Inseparable from God — then where, precisely, does suffering come from?
It comes from one place only.
The belief that you are not.
Somewhere in your earliest conditioning — through theological superstitious beliefs, religion, culture, education, and the accumulated doctrine of generations — a story was installed. A story that says your soul became separated from God. That your God’s Image and Likeness BEING sinned, that your Soul fell from, or the Spirit and the Soul are separated because of sin, hence God’s Image and Likeness was born, and you are incomplete because of sin. That you must journey back to God, earn, pray, that you are an objective physical body that needs to be healed, or evolve your way back to wholeness.
This story feels true. It has been repeated so many times, in so many authoritative voices, that it has become the water you swim in without noticing.
But it is not truth. It is assumption.
And here is what is actually, irreversibly, Eternally true:
God is an ETERNAL, INDIVISIBLE, Omnipresent BEING besides whom there is none. There is no “outside” of God. No gap. No vacuum. No space in which a separated soul could exist — because Omnipresence, by definition, leaves no room for absence.
Therefore, the Soul, as God’s Image and Likeness and GOD ITSELF, has never been separated from Spirit, also known as GOD. God’s Image and Likeness has never sinned. The SOUL has never been lost.
What happened is this — through the theological superstitious belief of sin and death, a false ego-mind was introduced and conditioned to believe in separation.
Existing under the influence of a superstitious theological mindset asserts that sin has divided the Soul (God’s Image and Likeness) from the Spirit—the unified GOD + SOUL that constitutes God’s distinct “I-AM-SELF”-Identity.
To occupy the vacuum left by this supposed separation claim, a secondary ego-mind and personal identity were fabricated. Vast effort has been spent “schooling” this false, secondary self—grafting data onto it, urging it to pray, meditate, comprehend, demonstrate, gain insights, and evolve into Spirit or God.
Yet, all these strivings merely reject God, reenact the prodigal son, crucify God’s true BEING, forsake Love, taint Purity, extinguish Life, and disavow your SELF-Identity. To what end? Is it possible to introduce evil into heaven? Can sin and corruption ever be unveiled before GOD’S OMNIPRESENCE? Can the IMMUTABLE ONE that IS I ever be changed?
Unfortunately, that’s the belief running beneath every waking moment like code beneath a screen: it is the engine of all human suffering. The anxiety. The depression. The chronic fear. The sense of lack. The endless, exhausting seeking.
Weary of spiritual leaders who offer nothing but incomplete remedies, many people face deep disillusionment. Countless teachers merely echo conventional doctrines from sacred scripts, striving more to captivate crowds with eloquent rhetoric and rigid dogmas than to connect with genuine, lived experience.
Consequently, individuals are left wondering why their endless devotion, prayer, contemplation, and discipline fail to bring lasting relief while their painful circumstances persist. As hope fades, some conclude that God is a myth and drift away in despair, desperate to dismantle the agonizing falsehood that haunts their daily consciousness and demanding to know why true freedom from mental and emotional pain and suffering cannot be realized immediately.
Where does this suffering, mortal personal human mind even claim to reside, from where did it arise, and by what authority does it speak?
Given that God is an ETERNAL SINGLE-TOTALITY—utterly Indivisible, Inseparable, and completely WHOLE—it stands that ONLY GOD IS TRUE, REAL, AND FACT.
The Mindset Of Mental And Emotional Pain And Suffering
The mental and emotional suffering, disease, limiting beliefs, and fear of death that plague so many exist only because they operate within a mindset of sin and death—the mistaken assumption that the Soul, or God’s Image and Likeness, is detached from a mutable, incomplete Creator.
Identifying with the theological, superstitious mindset of sin and death—one that claims knowledge of God and promises to guide you along the stony path of humanhood and personal self-identity toward a distant heaven—constitutes a total denial of GOD’S ETERNAL NATURE. Such a state of mind actively refutes or ignores OMNIPRESENCE, OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPOTENCE, and OMNIACTION.
They instinctively know their suffering is tied to this ignorance, yet the root cause remains hidden.
The Identity Crisis
Trapped within the ego’s story of “who you are,” people become so deeply identified with their thoughts that they mistake them for reality. They construct a false personal self-identity from a collection of concepts—labels like a name, a birthplace, or a physical body—superimposed upon the truth of “I am.”
Many are plunged into a profound identity crisis, asking “Who am I?” as they realize that the path they have travelled was never truly their own. They discover they have lived an inauthentic life, hiding behind a persona constructed merely out of perceived needs.
By failing to answer “Who am I?”, they continuously invent new identities, yet despite multiple reinventions of the personal self, the emptiness persists; transient identities drift further from their true Self. Ultimately, all human suffering arises from this disconnect from the God identity.
Relying on this human reasoning and conditioned intellect is pure nonsense. Bypassing God while expecting the fulfillment of the ETERNAL STATE OF MIND—the Spirit + Soul functioning as the ETERNAL “I”-I-AM-Being-Aliveness inclusive of God’s Mind-universe—is self-evident folly.
Stop all efforts to “fix” the ego-mind and the person-self-identity, for this fabricated, pretend self-identity is absolutely not “who you are.” There is no path to overcoming this personal self, and it is entirely incapable of experiencing GOD through this false self-identity.
As the soul begins to awaken, the lost and searching feel the world’s illusions dissolve around them. They no longer find satisfaction in superficial success, social validation, or material possessions, prompting the deeper inquiry: “Who am I beyond my thoughts and emotions?”
They instinctively know their suffering is tied to this ignorance, yet the root cause remains hidden. By failing to answer “Who am I?”, they continuously invent new identities, yet despite multiple reinventions of the personal self, the emptiness persists; transient identities drift further from their true Self. Ultimately, all human suffering arises from this disconnect from the God identity.
They sense an Eternal reality within but remain unable to reach it. They perceive that while the external personal self is unstable and transient, an Eternal and Unchanging SELF remains hidden behind it—an inner identity that never changes despite countless external shifts.
It was always the belief in sin and death. Never the truth.
The Spirit and Soul have never been divided. God’s Image and Likeness has never fallen. God is already Whole, Unchanged, PERFECT — and so, in God’s ETERNAL BEING, TRUTH, this is Who you are.
What You Actually Are — The Revelation
God is Spirit. Eternal. Single. Undivided.
And you — your true INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity — IS BEING: Spirit and Soul functioning as ONE, Eternal and Inseparable, Image and Likeness of God.
Your ONE AND ONLY true BEING is GOD’s ETERNAL STATE OF MIND where Spirit + Soul = BEING—the “I”-I-AM-Being-Aliveness that includes GOD’s MIND-universe. This supreme BEING is already Omnipotently Active, serving as the Omnipresent, All-encompassing, SINGLE, and only BEING.
Because God is already Active in this Omnipotent STATE OF MIND—engaging in unlimited work, movement, and function as BEING, as God’s Image and Likeness, and as God’s own Soul-SELF—this completely rules out, prevents, and makes entirely impossible the creation of a personal self-identity, human-mind, human-being, mortal mind, ego-mind, or suffering-mind.
This means:
You are not a human trying to become spiritual. You are a Spirit BEING.
You are not a soul seeking reunion with God. You are God’s own Soul, already Whole.
You are not a person who needs to be fixed, healed, evolved, or enlightened. You are BEING ITSELF — Eternally Active, Eternally Complete.
This Eternal BEING is already Omnipotently Active. Already Omnipresent. Already living as the Complete, Undivided Wholeness your heart has always ached for.
Nothing you have done — no sin, no failure, no broken faith, no years of suffering — has ever touched this BEING.
Because you cannot corrupt what is Eternal. You cannot divide what is Omnipresent. You cannot diminish what is God’s own Image and Likeness.
You have not been on a journey back to God. You have been God, always — simply believing you were somewhere else.
Stop Trying to Fix What Was Never Broken
This is where many spiritual paths — however well-intentioned — keep people quietly imprisoned.
They say: fix the ego. Heal the shadow. Manage the mind. Develop better habits. Build a stronger practice. Pray harder. Meditate longer.
And all of it carries the same foundational error: the assumption that the personal self — the ego-mind, the conditioned identity — is the thing that needs improvement.
But you cannot transform what you are not.
To view “Who you are” through the lens of theological superstitions, personal self-identity, and the human construct of the ego-mind is to begin in darkness, chaos, and duality—trapped in the babble of idiocy, the mutterings of intellectuality, the multiplicity of education, and the superstitions of theology, physiology, psychology, pathology, and insanity.
Within such a mindset, can GOD, Inner Peace, Poise, or the magnitude of Pure Uncontested Majesty, the SELF-LOVE-I-AM, ever be found?
The ego-mind — this constructed identity of names, roles, stories, traumas, and beliefs — is not who you are. It is a conditioned pattern of thought, arising from the belief in the separation of the Spirit and the Soul and human assumptions. And no amount of refining, healing, or spiritually evolving this pattern will take you home.
Home is not at the end of a journey. Home is the recognition that you never left.
The suffering, the mental and emotional pain, the limiting beliefs, the fear — these are not problems of a broken self that must be repaired. They are the inevitable fruit of a single misidentification of self: the belief that you are a mortal human, separate from an incomplete or distant God.
Stop trying to fix that self. Stop trying to perfect it, transcend it, or merge it with God. It is not yours to fix — because it is not you.
Your one and only true INDIVIDUAL SELF-Identity is God’s Eternal BEING — Spirit and Soul, functioning as the I-AM, beside whom there is no other.
Recognizing this — not as doctrine, not as intellectual agreement, but as the living ground of your GOD Awareness that cannot be questioned — is the beginning of the end of all suffering.
The Answer Your Soul Has Been Asking For
So — who are you?
From the standpoint of ETERNITY, God’s Eternal BEING is defined as Spirit + Soul = BEING-“I”—the ultimate “I”-I-AM-Being-Aliveness that encompasses God’s own Mind-universe.
As the Omnipresent, All-inclusive Spirit, GOD stands as the one and only Substance in which every idea, thing, body, and world exists. This Omnipresence precludes any sense of otherness, alienation, or any state, condition, or self-identification that opposes or contradicts God’s Perfection in God’s own Conception and All-inclusion.
Because OMNIPRESENCE leaves only ETERNITY, there can be nothing “outside” of it, nor any “contrary” within it.
Where, then, can disease, mental and emotional pain, or suffering actually exist?
The “body” is an “EXCLUSIVE CONCEPTION OF SPIRIT,” the body being SPIRIT. Where is the kind of body that could ever serve as a “physical object or medium” for recording illness, time, age, limiting beliefs, fear, and mental and emotional suffering?
Furthermore, where is the ego-recording mind, the personal self-identity that experiences disease, worsens, and dies, when God remains the ONE and ONLY OMNIPRESENT Awareness-I-Mind-AM, Inclusive of the entire universe of Life?
You are the BEING of Genesis 1:26. Spirit and Soul, functioning as ONE. The I-AM. The Eternal SELF-Identity that was never born into separation, never lost in sin, never in need of rescue, redemption, or repair.
You are not a human reaching toward God.
You are God’s own BEING, already Complete, already Present, already Whole.
And when this God’s Eternal Truth stops being a concept — when it becomes the living premise beneath your feet — the seeking ends. The suffering ends. The void that no achievement, no relationship, no spiritual practice could ever quite fill — closes.
Not because you fixed something.
Because you recognised something.
Something that has always, already, Eternally been true.
As previously noted, when one questions their identity based on physical, mental, and emotional torment, darkness, satanic influences, evil, guilt, or shame, they effectively reject the reality of GOD’S ETERNAL BEING, GOD, ETERNITY, ACTION, POWER, INTELLIGENCE, and the true I-Identity.
Instead, this approach relies entirely on mere assumptions.
Bodily, psychological, and emotional afflictions, alongside mental disturbances, are simply the unavoidable manifestations of “otherness.” Rooted in the false doctrines of sin and death, which originate in error, they seem to perpetuate this misconception and its consequences indefinitely—yet to what purpose?
The SPIRIT+SOUL have NEVER been separated, divided.
God’s Image and Likeness, God’s Soul have NEVER SINNED AND WERE NEVER LOST.
GOD IS already WHOLE, UNCHANGED, PERFECT, HEALTHY, WEALTHY, AND INTELLIGENTLY knows this, for GOD’s Image and Likeness-Soul-I AM-MIND-I-SELF-Identity-AWARENESS is Wisdom ITSELF, being all-inclusively active and constant.
When you want to answer the question of “Who you are,” start with God definition of SELF-Identity (not with theological superstitious belief, human-educated or personal assumption pertaining to body as identity, the “source of Life, the “medium” of intelligence, the “maintainer” of Health, the “vessel” of Soul, hence sees that BEING is unfallen, the ONE AND ONLY SUBSTANCE, Presence, Action, Awareness, hence the Total SELF-I-AM-NOW, and there is nothing else. This Constant ONE is forever unaware of anything to the contrary.
GOD IS too UTTERLY WHOLE, ENTIRE, COMPLETE, ETERNAL to leave any place for limitation, limiting beliefs, fear, disease, birth-death, choice, duality, otherness, and cannot behold or include contradiction, rejection, changeableness, dimension, frustration, time, fall, rise, sin, forgiveness, reward, or a repudiation of Holiness.
Living within this true BE-ING and living within this ETERNAL STATE OF MIND unlocks the deep peace, profound happiness, and perfect joy we instinctively seek. To put it another way, it is an everyday, normal experience of extreme joy where your Soul—God’s Image and Likeness—discovers the REST OF GOD by identifying ITS true SELF-Identity.
This is OMNIPRESENT-Joy functioning Eternally, the WHOLE-SPIRIT+SOUL-I-AM-Being-Aliveness that includes GOD’s MIND-universe. It is the INDIVIDUAL-ETERNAL-I being All-Intelligence Intelligently All, completely devoid of division or separation.
In this ETERNAL STATE OF BEING, the SPIRIT+SOUL FUNCTIONS AS ONE ETERNAL SINGLE BEING-I, besides whom there is no other, meaning there is no alternative existence or otherness.
