Intro: How to Feel Better and Beat Depression in These Crazy Times

People often say that helping others will make you feel better. But most depression advice assumes you’re not actually depressed.

Here’s the truth many people don’t know.

People who give this type of advice are operating from a false mind and a false self with a false origin. Therefore, tips and advice from this mindset are guaranteed not to work. This advice comes from the wrong place. It’s based on a misunderstanding of who you really are. That’s why these tips don’t work.

I wish people would be honest about how exhausting it is to keep trying things that don’t help—stress management, depression tips, meditation—and stop pretending these methods work for everyone. Acknowledge and tell yourself the truth about your daily experiences and stop obsessively insisting that these tips are guaranteed to work when they don’t.

If you have been depressed, you at least know by now what works and what doesn’t work. It doesn’t help that you’re high-functioning; hence, you regularly do most of what everyone recommends, and it astounds people when you tell them the tools they recommended didn’t fix you or make you feel better.

You just can’t turn the happiness button on and feel better, then switch it off again. Be honest and tell them what works and what doesn’t work. You can’t just flip a switch and feel happy. Be honest about what actually helps you. That’s where real progress starts. This here is where you start!

Those pieces of advice make you feel better for a while, and then you get back to feeling worse, which, at the end of the day, didn’t actually help you feel better. These tips might help temporarily, but then you feel worse again. In the end, they don’t really solve anything.

When you tell people you are depressed, they tell you it’s all in your head. That response is also from the human mind. The reason this advice and these tips don’t work is that they are ego-based. They come from a false understanding of yourself—a limited view that has no real power to help you feel better. This limited belief in yourself has never been your true self.

It originates from the ego—a fake self, mindset, and way of thinking that has no real power or substance to help you feel better, because it is — and never has been — your real being, mind, self, and consciousness.

You can ONLY feel better, free yourself from depression, and find inner peace when you truly know who you are. Your real self is the SELF made in God’s Image and Likeness.

The version of yourself that you have been told is broken; the part that needs to be worked on or needs fixing is a false version of yourself. It’s a false version based on limited thinking, ego thinking, and mindset. That “being”, “self,” and “mind” are the image of the ego. That false self can’t be fixed or healed. You can’t just get over that self, being and mind because it is in the jail cell of ego – a consciousness that controls how you think, behave, act and feel. In this mindset, you’re doomed; that self is doomed forever.

Real peace of mind and freedom from depression come when you see yourself through God’s Perspective and live from the MIND of God—as God’s Image, MIND, BEING, SELF, LIFE – the source of everything, and the only true way of thinking.

Unfortunately, most people make the mistake of seeing themselves through a human/ego’s perspective, which creates inner conflict and war in the mind. This false way of thinking can never bring you true peace or make you feel better. Most people mistakenly see themselves from a limited human perspective. This creates inner conflict. This limited way of thinking can never bring true peace.

If you want to feel better and overcome depression, ignore the common first step: “Just stop being depressed.”

Instead, get to know the origin of the mind that causes or triggers your depression. All along, people have been trying to fix, cure what they have no clue about. People have been trying to fix something without understanding it first.
